Rural Veteran Care

Veterans may have unique health issues as a result of their military service. Such conditions include posttraumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, depression, military sexual trauma and sleep disorders. In addition to their medical issues, it’s important for providers to understand the military culture to which Veterans are accustomed. A variety of free trainings are available to rural VA and community providers.
